We zijn iets meer dan een week verder in het zogenaamde apenland. Ondertussen heb ik mijn plannen om samen met Anggie naar Bali te gaan grotendeels regeld, nou financiëel gezien dan. De totale kosten voor een vier daagse vakantie in het hoogseizoen met goed hotel, auto en chauffeur huren, komen neer op ongeveer 10.000.000 Roepiah. Dit komt neer op ongeveer 715 euro, tja, als je wat leuks wilt proberen moet je er vaak de centjes voor hebben.
Aangezien het over een week alweer kerst is, heb ik ook een beetje decoratie gekocht voor in mijn kos. Dat is iets gezelliger en ik vind het erg leuk staan. Dit jaar zal ik geen sneeuw zien rond de feestdagen, maar wat verwacht je als het elke dag (ook in de winter) buiten 30 graden celsius of hoger is. Je ziet af en toe Indonesische kerstmannen rondlopen bij de plaza's en die zullen zich vast kapotzweten, ha ha.
Morgenvroeg ga ik weer langs op het kantoor van de Indonesian Netherlands Association, om nog wat kleine details uit te leggen over hun nieuwe CMS (wat blijkbaar nog niet duidelijk is). Later op de dag wil ik weer verder werken aan mijn huidige project Roda Dua (www.roda-dua.com ), wat nu steeds professioneler eruit komt te zien.

More than a week ago and of course I'm still residing in the so-called monkey country. Meanwhile I have finished my plans to go to Bali with Anggie, well financially spoken. The total costs for this four day trip in high season (including good hotel, car and driver rental) are about 10.000.000 Roepiah. This is about 715 euros. Well, sometimes you need some money to do fun things.
In one week it's already christmas, so I already bought some decorations to put inside my little house. This is much more cozy and I happen to think it also looks better. This year I won't be seeing snow fallin' down during the holidays, but what did you expect if everyday (also in the winter) the temperature outside reaches 30 degrees celsius or higher. Sometimes I see an Indonesian Santa Claus around the plazas, thinkin' how they must be sweatin' like no other, ha ha.
Tomorrow morning I'll be going to the Indonesian Netherlands Association office again, to explain a few details about their new CMS (which apparently is not known to them yet). Later that day I want to continue working on my currect project Roda Dua (www.roda-dua.com ), that is lookin' more and more professional each day.
