Een collega van mij is net afgestudeerd en heeft in die vier-jarige studie ook de Nederlandse taal behandeld. Zij heet Dhiesta, is iets ouder dan mij, echte Indonesiër, heeft een relatie en een bediende die haar op de motor van en naar het kantoor brengt. Ik liet haar allerlei Nederlandse liederen horen van o.a. Marco Borsato, Guus Meeuwis, Wolter Kroes enzovoort. De meeste nummers kon ze gewoon meezingen! Geweldig was dat, helemaal toen ik "Wij houden van Oranje" van André Hazes en het Nederlandse Volkslied afspeelde.

A colleague of mine had just finished her study and with that she also studied the Dutch language. Her name is Dhiesta, few years older than me, real Indonesian, has a relationship and a servant who brings her to the office on the motorcycle. I showed her some Dutch songs from Marco Borsato, Guus Meeuwis, Wolter Kroes and more like them. She could sing most of those songs! That was great, especially when I played "Wij houden van Oranje" [We all love Orange, (Holland national colour)] of André Hazes and the Dutch national anthem.
